How BE MORE views partnerships
To understand a little more about how BE MORE views partnerships in the first place, let’s first dig in a bit to the history of BE MORE. In short, this means that we believe organizations and businesses have the power to build communities, propel social change, and, ultimately, impact the world. We also believe that by partnering with other like-minded organizations, like our sponsors, we can accomplish much more together than we could by ourselves. Meet the Middle Project
The Middle Project prepares ethical leaders for a more just society. It is an institute that brings together youth, young adults and adults from many fields and faith traditions.
The Middle Project unites progressive leaders who are ready for a revolutionary and prophetic way of using power and resources to act locally and think globally to heal the human family. The Middle Project takes its strength and approach from the progressive faith traditions that have played a major role in America’s greatest democratic achievements: the abolition of slavery, civil rights, universal suffrage, and the anti-war movement.
The Middle Project is also one of BE MORE with Anu’s most long-standing partners! (Not convinced? Check out this conversation from April 2014 between Jacqui Lewis and Anu as they discuss Healing the Divide: Acting for Racial Justice and Equality.)
We partnered with them in 2014 to participate in their incubator, and the collaborations have been off and running ever since. In particular, much of the Breaking Bias Summit has roots in the Revolutionary Love Conference, which has inspired Anu for the past seven years.
